Peeps are a staple of this time of year—thank you Easter! If you haven’t noticed them in grocery stores already, just wait, soon they will be EVERYWHERE. If you have a Mom, Grandma, or any family at all, you may find yourself sitting on a mountain of peeps–with all their beady little candy eyes mocking you. If you’re like me, you may get tired of simply shoveling them into your mouth and will need to find more creative ways to dispose of all your excess peeps.
Here’s a list of all the things you can do with your peeps.
1. Put them in your hot chocolate
2. Make peep kebabs.
3. Dip them in chocolate.
4. Put them on top of cupcakes, cookies, or make a whole cake out of them.
5. Give them tattoos.
6. Make a diorama.
7. Microwave them. In all honestly, I usually just go straight for this, because I’m a diabolical jerk.
8. For those of you who are charitable, the most reasonable thing to do is give them away! Take them to work and sneakily place them on the kitchen counter when no one is looking. Anyone who is dieting will thank you for giving them a good reason to cheat. Think—do you know any children, great! They LOVE peeps. They will thank you and so will their parents—there is nothing in the world more adorable and heart-warming than children hopped up on sugar!
